This virtual training looks at how it’s the everyday things in programming that can wear us down. That is, not listening, not participating, and rude or disrespectful behaviour. We look at how to strengthen listening and participation, in addition to dealing with rude behaviour.
Katy holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and brings a wealth of experience as an educator, social worker, and most recently as an educational consultant working with community organizations, recreation centres, schools, and government to build rapport and facilitate creative, meaningful learning experiences for all learners, with a focus on those with notable challenging behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
