This virtual training focuses on the five aspects of Social-Emotional Learning and how they can positively impact practice. We look at how self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making can enrich our lives and those of the youth we support.
Katy holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and brings a wealth of experience as an educator, social worker, and most recently as an educational consultant working with school districts, schools, and community organizations to build rapport and facilitate creative, meaningful learning experiences for all learners, with a focus on those with notable challenging behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
