We believe everyone deserves to be included in sports and recreation settings.

Ensure your activities are accessible and adaptable! This course provides practical tools to help get more participants actively engaged in sport and recreation activities. A brief introduction to neurodiversity is included to help coaches and leaders better understand the range of participants they will meet. By taking this course, you will learn to teach in ways that are simple and clear, while supporting and motivating participants who are struggling. 

Who can take this course?

This course is designed specifically for sports & recreation leaders in a range of settings, including sports clubs and community recreation staff. We also encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about supporting Autistic individuals in sports & recreation settings to take this course.

  • Neurodivergence and Physical Activity
  • Strategies to Support Neurodivergent Participants and Prepare them for Success
  • Supporting Participants Experiencing Difficulty

Upon completion, learners will receive a certificate.

This course was designed with insights from professionals who have worked in sport and recreation settings.
