This online course will explain the differences between a user agreement, license agreement and shared use agreement. Once you have decided which is right for your situation, the course will guide you through all the items that need to be considered when creating the one you need. There is a draft word template for each of the agreements so that as you go through the course, you can create your own draft version. In addition, there are agreements from a variety of organizations that provide real life examples of how others have structured their own agreements.
Background: The content for this course was developed by the BCRPA in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The sample agreement documents and checklists can also be found on the Ministry website as well as the BCRPA site.
The online Shared Use Agreement Guide was made possible through funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
