There was a time when people who worked outside all summer felt sorry for people stuck at their desks in air-conditioned buildings. But summers in BC are changing due to drought, high temperatures, and wildfires. While working outdoors is still a pleasure for many people, the heat and smoke can affect their health. Review the impacts of climate change in BC and the effects of heat and wildfire smoke on human health, while exploring climate projections for BC and strategies for health protection in the summers to come.
