This session is designed to help coaches understand what women in the menopause transition are experiencing so that they can better support this population. The discussion will include nutrition, exercise, mental health, sleep and stress mitigation strategies.
BCRPA Registered Fitness Leaders are eligible to receive 0.5 CEC upon completion of this course.
Facilitated by Dawn Thalheimer Dawn is a Women’s Body Coach who specializes in helping women lose weight, feel great and thrive during perimenopause and beyond. With over 10 years in the fitness industry and then as a nutrition coach, she shows her clients that health is more than just food and exercise – it’s a whole-person, whole-life experience where physical, mental and emotional factors all play a very real part. Dawn stresses the importance of belief in yourself and the commitment to keep moving forward, no matter what hurdles life presents. As she says, “wellness isn’t a 30-day sprint, it’s a lifelong adventure”.
